Since graduating from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2002 with a BSc in Podiatry, Andrew has gone on to work in various specialist and advanced practice roles in both musculoskeletal (MSK) and Orthopaedics services. This has provided Andrew with the opportunity to work with a diverse range of people ranging from recreational runners to professional athletes including rugby players and footballers.
With over 15 years experience working in MSK and Orthopaedics, Andrew is passionate about helping people return to activity following injury or surgery. MSK and Sports Podiatry provides a crucial role in the rehabilitation of injury and improving lower limb function using a variety of methods such as gait analysis, rehabilitation, footwear and orthotics.
Andrew is dedicated to continued professional development and has gained a number of post graduate qualifications including a Masters Degree, Post Graduate Certificate in Diagnostic Ultrasound, steroid injection therapy and is also qualified as an independent prescriber. Furthermore Andrew is undertaking a Professional Doctorate part time. In 2017 Andrew was also admitted as a member of the Faculty of Podiatric Medicine at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.
